WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This course is designed for those involved in construction and looking to develop traditional construction heritage skills.

COURSE CONTENT:
A 6 day course/activity which through practical activities aims to provide a sound understanding of how to repair and repoint stone work using the correct materials and mortar mixes. By the end of the course/activity the candidate will be familiar with the “do’s” and “don’ts” of raking out mortar joints, preparing to repair and indent for new stone work and working with the correct mortar mixes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
On successful completion of the course the participant will receive a College and Corn Exchange certificate in on site training. This module develops skills and underpinning knowledge that will act as a foundation for a National Progression Award (NPA) certificate.

DURATION: 6 days
