Paul Mccabe a metal detectorist visited the Dalkeith museum this week to show members of the Dalkeith History Society some of his finds from local sites.Among his collection were a number of lead bag seals which he thought might be corn bag seals from the corn Exchange . He felt that he could donate some of these to the new museum for display, this would be great .

Any further information on this would be gratefully received , if anyone could shed more light on the subject…..
